Of all the things Civilization: Beyond Earth’s first expansion accomplishes, the greatest is this: it sorts through centuries of war, politics, and future technology, to reveal the personalities behind it all.
Developer Firaxis Games has a reputation for making bold expansions, and Rising Tide is no exception. It doesn’t just add content to the sci-fi strategy game–it reimagines certain systems altogether, and brings real characters into the formula. And despite a few cloying issues, Rising Tide’s changes make for a more balanced, and more memorable, empire-building experience.
The Legend Of Zelda- Skyward Sword HD Review – Link To The Past
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is one of the most divisive entries in Nintendo’s acclaimed series. As the first full-fledged Zelda game designed for the Wii, the title made extensive use of the Wii Remote, eschewing the series’ traditional control scheme for controversial motion controls. A decade later, Nintendo has remastered Skyward Sword for the Switch, and while many of the game’s original faults remain intact, a variety of welcome tweaks make it easier to appreciate now.
As with the Wii U remasters of The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, Nintendo has made numerous quality-of-life improvements to Skyward Sword. These tweaks are largely minor but have an appreciable effect on the game’s playability. Some previously mandatory tutorials are now optional, for instance, and you can speed up dialogue and skip cutscenes, making the game’s languid opening moments much breezier.
Original Horizon Zero Dawn Has Been Delisted On PC Ahead Of The Remaster
During the most recent State of Play, Sony announced that Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a remaster for PS5 and PC. Sony subsequently doubled the price of the game’s PS4 version. Now, Sony has delisted the original Horizon Zero Dawn from Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Via IGN, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition still has a page on Steam, but it’s unavailable for purchase and it simply offers fans links to buy Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered or the game’s sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. The listing for Zero Dawn’s remastered also reveals that the game will require a PSN connection. That’s a big reason why God of War Ragnarok was review-bombed by players a few weeks ago. Sony’s insistence on adding that requirement has proven to be very unpopular among some segment of the audience, especially when applied to single-player games.

International Game Technology (IGT) has officially dropped its legal challenge to the award of the 4th UK National Lottery license to Allwyn Entertainment UK Limited (Allwyn).
The case:
The legal case started during July two years ago, aka in 2022. At that time, the Court of Appeal allowed IGT to challenge the decision. The decision was that the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) had chosen Allwyn as the lucky bidder to be awarded the said license in March two years ago.
During July of the previous year, the Court stated that IGT doesn’t possess legal status for a claim for damages against the aforementioned regulator. Additionally, the IGT made a plea against the decision during September.
However, during this ongoing week, it has requested from the Court to set aside the above appeal, meaning that it has decided to stop seeking the compensation.
